I believe that responsible farming involves an intimate stewardship with the land. I work hard to improve my soil’s viability while caring for my crops. When preparing soil, I first add well-rotted compost into the soil.
I then blend in naturally occurring fertilizers, thus supplying vital nutrients needed for vigorous crop growth. I encourage beneficial insects by planting friendly perennials, and I deal with pests in an ecologically conscious fashion, without poisons or toxic chemical pesticides. The result is outstanding organic produce and soil that is in better condition at the end of each growing season.
